Hi all from my icy corner of NE England. When Deramores closed down, I bought lots of their Studio DK in the sale. I have decided to have another go at Entrelac crochet and this is the result so far.

I haven't posted anything like as much as I usually do this year but here's my top nine of 2022. Two of them are reposts of other people's makes from my pattern. Here's hoping 2023 is more productive. Wishing you all a Happy New Year from my corner of NE England. 🥂

Merry Christmas to one and all. I have finished this shawl faster than I have finished anything else in the last 12 months! It's a symmetrical version of my asymmetrical Cocktail Fizz Shawl, made so I could draw a chart for my friend Elspeth @craftykoalabear as she likes the colours to be symmetrical in something she wants to wear. The yarn is YarnArt Flowers colour 288 from @ourlittlecraft .

It's about 20 years since I have knitted a baby cardigan. I just fancied having a go at a cable pattern and this is the result.

My walk from home to Morpeth Town centre and back usually takes me through Postern Woods. It looked really pretty after light snowfall last night. It's a much nicer walk than going on the pavement next to the traffic and we have seen loads of squirrels in the last few days which were making a surprising amount of noise!

It has taken a while but the pattern for my Cocktail Fizz Shawl is now available in my Ravelry store. See the link in my bio. Mel @crochet_uk.couk kindly gifted me the yarn for this ages ago and has been waiting patiently for the pattern ever since. I chose the colour Perranporth and I love the pastel rainbow shades.
